Now that football season is here, you can't have too many delicious chicken wing recipes for tailgating and football watching parties. These wings, coated in a sauce made from an amazing peach pepper jelly, are perfect for football season.
They are also a big hit with kids. One of the ways I bond with my almost 16-year-old grandson is through chicken wings. Once I learned that he loved wings, I knew I could bribe him to come over by making chicken wings. All I have to do is text him "I made wings," and he often will show up on his scooter within a couple of hours! These wings were no exception.
It all started with these air fryer sriracha-honey chicken wings and these one-pot sticky chicken wings, and then the pressure was on to make more wings!
Key "secret" ingredient in these chicken wings:
The sweet and spicy flavors in these wings come from Peach Pepper Jelly from Jennifer's Kitchen.
I'm a huge fan of Jennifer's Kitchen. Her jellies are small batch, and her business is stay-at-home-mom-owned. Everything from her kitchen is all natural too, something she's committed to because of her son's allergies.
She has more flavors besides peach, including holiday, hot confetti, and strawberry. Plus, she's just so dang nice.
If you're interested in testing out some of the jellies, you can use the code Karen25 for a 25 percent discount on her site.
P.S. Her site includes lots of recipes for using the jellies.

How to make these pepper jelly glazed chicken wings:
First, cut the wings at the joints and discard the tips. Next, salt and pepper the wings and place them on wire rack which has been placed in a half sheet pan. Bake them in a 400 degree F oven about 15 minutes per side.
While the wings are baking, cook the jelly with some apple cider vinegar and butter.
When the wings are done, brush them on one side with the jelly and broil on one side until slightly blackened. Remove the pan from the oven, flip the wings over with tongs, brush the wings with more jelly, and broil again until slightly blackened.
Make-ahead tips for these Pepper Jelly Glazed Chicken Wings:
You can bake these wings in advance and refrigerate them overnight to broil or grill the next day. You can also completely bake and broil these wings in advance.
When you are ready to serve, just reheat the wings in the microwave and toss them in some of the reheated sauce. Serve with some Ranch dressing or your favorite cool dipping sauce.
My grandson loved these wings. In fact, he took all of the leftovers home.

- Heat the oven to 425 degrees F.
- Line a half sheet pan with foil and place a wire rack over the foil. Spray the rack with nonstick spray. You can also use an old fashioned broiler pan.

- Separate the remaining pieces by cutting through the joint with a heavy knife.
- Sprinkle the wings with salt and pepper and place them on the wire rack, skin side down.

- Turn the wings over with tongs, brush them generously with more sauce, and broil until the second side is crispy and slightly charred.
- Remove the wings from the oven and brush with any remaining sauce.
- Place the wings on a platter, sprinkle with cilantro, and serve with ranch dressing or the dipping sauce of your choice.
